1. How do I use Appstand?
Simply slide in your iPhone, plug in your charging cord (or not!) – and enjoy your favorite Apps! It’s really that simple. The stand on the back even will rotate every 90 degrees to allow you to enjoy your Apps in Appstand’s 4 different positions:

1. Landscape Mode (when Appstand is wider than it is tall)
2. Personal Landscape Mode (rotating stand 180 degrees when in Landscape Mode)
3. Portrait Mode (when Appstand is taller than it is wide)
4. Personal Portrait Mode (rotating stand 180 degrees when in Portrait Mode)

2. What’s with the Personal Modes? What are Personal Portrait and Personal Landscape Modes?
The Personal modes are great for using or viewing various Apps when Appstand is placed right in front of you on a tabletop or desktop. It’s perfect for surfing the web, viewing videos at your desk, having a conference call, etc.

3. Where can I get Appstand?

5. Who came up with this idea, anyway?
Appstand is a product made possible by Thunk, a Cleveland, Ohio-based startup dedicated to designing products for the increasingly mobile consumer.

6. Does Appstand accommodate all iPhones?
Yes. Appstand was designed for iPhone, whether it be First Generation, 3G, 3GS and iPhone 4.

7. Wait! So Appstand does work with my iPhone 4?
Appstand was originally deisgned specifically for 3G and 3GS, but is also a great compliment for iPhone 4 as well. See iPhone 4 and Appstand in action here!

8. Do I lose any of the functionality of my iPhone?
No. When designing Appstand, it was extremely important for us to make sure that the functionality of your iPhone was completely unrestricted. Therefore all of the ports and buttons are totally accessible including the touchscreen.

9. Does Appstand work for iPod touch?
Technically, no. Appstand is specifically designed for iPhone. However, we are currently in the design process for creating Appstand designed for iPod Touch. If you are interested in purchasing Appstand for iPod Touch, please share that feedback with us at info@appstandstore.com.

10. Am I able to charge my iPhone while in Appstand?
Yes. Appstand was designed specifically to allow you to charge your iPhone with the cord that you already own. And since there is no wrong way to place your iPhone into Appstand, charging is never a problem.

11. Can I receive a call while my iPhone is in Appstand?
Yes. Since the window on Appstand exposes the entire iPhone face including the proximity sensor, answering your call is as easy as touching the screen. And with the speaker function activated, hands-free calls have never been so seamless. If you would rather hold the phone to your ears, Appstand was designed so that you can easily slide your iPhone out to use at a moment’s notice.

12. Is Appstand only available in black?
Yes. However, if you wish to add a splash of vibrant color, Appmats are the perfect solution. Appmats slide right into Appstand to change the color of the inner layer of the Appstand frame.
